After some fun runs last night with the sti and the teg, a friend of mine told me a bike wanted to run me. I felt like was on a roll so I said sure, on video. As we were trying to negotiate the speed and an even take off, he declined 3 times our method of choice. He said that he will go when he sees my car move, I tried to change his mind but he said no. To keep thins as fair as possible I told him I was gonna slow down to a 40 roll, 3 sec after you start to hear my car get insainly loud I am gone so be READY. He says we can go from whatever speed and I will only get a slight jump, he will be ready.
Our first run we line up on the hwy and stage at 40, I look at him he is ready so I go and he is right there with me because I was spinning real bad (got alittle sideways)and soon as i hit 3rd I start pulling. I shut down at 130mph with a 2 car lead.
Second run was the same senerio, 40 kick, no spinning and we shoot down at 135mph this time with a bus or better. All these runs were on video. My friend has the video and will post them as soon as he can. The guy was cool and said he wants a run back next weekend and he is bringing more bikes.

Yeah, the car was sitting for a while before I ran the bike and the tires got alittle cold, caught me off gaurd. Thanks for the comliments

Just a nice MSPi/TDF mani and a properly shifting tranny. Its been bad since the car has been out, I just dont like to make excusses for how the car performs. If I run it and lose and there was issues that is my fault

My bike specs: 2004 Yamaha YZF-R6 Red/Black
Engine Mods: None
Exhaust: Yoshimura Carbon Fiber TRC Slip-On
Show: 20 LED Kit, 6000K Philips HID Kit, Halo's, etc.
Here's what happened, the first run I was in 3rd Gear going at 40mph, I underestimated the 240sx power so I figure I could run it in 3rd gear, so we rollin at 40mph and he got me the first time I was near the rear of his car or something not sure what i maxed out at. Second run i was in 2nd gear and I was in 40mph again, I agreed to letting him go first so pretty much he would hit the gas and when I hear his engine going I would start going, so next time i'll just be next to him and have someone else signal......overall it was a good run first car that keeps up with me.

you should try running him with your 06 R6 since the new 06 is faster then the 04.......i'm going to get me a power commander and see if that improves anything. Should be buying it this week hopefully comes in before friday.

First off, I dont run from a dig, it takes to much time to stage, flag, and my tranny will not take to much of that kind of abuse. A 3rd gear roll would have not made a difference, the only reason why the first race was so close was because my car was sliding everywhere and I let off to grip and got on it again. The second run I didnt have traction problems and the vid will show that you were not at my bumper. If your bike was faster you would not have had a problem matching my speed and pulling back or keeping it even. I keep pulling on you until we shut it down. 40 to 140 is enough time to tell weather you are capable to come back or not.
If you come back out with your bike the same way it was sat. I will beat you again. I am also not gonna race bikes evey weekend, it makes me a little nervous, I dont want to be the reason why someones bike goes down. Thats why I said I would "occasionally" race bikes. SInce that night I have been called out by a gixxer, an r1, a busa, and 2 r6's. If al these bikes want to play so bad someone call clark to come out, he loves running bikes.

Yes I do go to the track but not with slicks, I need the tires to slip some to keep me from breaking. Until i upgraded the tranny a roll is wha it is

I understand but its pretty much pointless to go from a roll as proved by the R6 :lmfao: I'll most likely be there this weekend or even this thursday before the bikes roll out to the Vortex. I never usually head that way(Live in Atlanta). Last time I was at the BP a dodge ram hit me and decided to run :2up:

SInce that night I have been called out by a gixxer, an r1, a busa, and 2 r6's. If al these bikes want to play so bad someone call clark to come out, he loves running bikes.
I'm not calling you out, just offering you a chance to see how you line up against a 1 liter where you know it's exact performance capabilities. Just a friendly offer, nothing else. Doesn't matter to me if you want to run from a dig, a roll, or not at all.

A one liter what, I dont know anthing about bikes and there capabilities. Shed alittle light my way and sure we can play. As long as it is the same power category as the an r6 or a gixxer. I will be at bp on pleasent hill at 11:15 today if you are serious

damn I missed it last night, I should have went out there, i wasn't on the forum yesterday at all.
1 Liter = 1000CC which is 400CC more powerful then my R6 so its not the same performace category as my bike. It in the 1000CC class which is more powerful. If you have a R1 and its a 2004, 2005, 2006 then hell that's a fast bike. That will be a good run, i'm sure that the R1 will either beat you or be right next to you.
i'll be there friday again man and saturday probably i'm not doing anything i'll come and hang out and if you wana run again we can, up 2 u.
I'll let someone go in front and signal this time, by tapping on the brakes twice and then we go that way i'm right next to you so we don't have anything issues..........Work's for you? or you wana do the flashlight thingy this time? I guess it was a mistake letting you get a head start on the last two runs, but that was my mistake not yours so its all good.
If you do end up racing the R1 let me know how it went.....

Hey Jeremy... I dunno if you remember my friend Jeremy with the orange cbr600rr, but he's a really good rider and always trying to look for something to race... want me to try to set ya up? Not a call out, but he's always down for some fun and I know you are too. =D
hey charles i need a favor from you if your out with us this weekend or you have time i want to put a video together kind of like the one you have with your evo im not good with film editing but i want something nice
