He's a 2 year old vizsla.. his owner has bone cancer and has to have both his arms amputated which is why he is now at our clinic.. he is a very sweet dog, but has some cage agression...

yesh as far as butkus(the dogs name so horrible).. his owner is friends with one of our clients who has 3 vizsla's...and he kept telling them he was going to have to put butkus to sleep because he kept nipping at his fingers and arms.. but no where else.. well this past weekend the guy was playing golf and went to swing and said it felt like his arm was ripped off.. they took xrays and sure enough there was only a ligament holding his arm together.. so our client called us.. they said they wanted to take him but they can barley deal with all 3...so we immediatly took him... he has shown no agression outside of the kennel/cage even towards young kids.. but he doesnt like being locked up. he is very sweet but very hyper...

^would the clinic let you bring them out to meet people and possibly get adopted from someone outside the scope of the clinic?
Like at a petsmart/petco adoption day type of thing? How long do the dogs have? Meaning how long are you guys alowed to keep them at the clinic?

I doubt it... but we keep them until they are adopted.. we dont ever euthanize a pet.. although alot of the staff ends up aquiring dogs/cats after they have been with us for a couple of months..
by the way.. I just called work for something and the schnauzer got adopted this morning by one of barrow PD... so he is now gone
