Hey who wants to buy me a blizzard... Just think, its for a good cause!!!

Haha im playing, but yeah thats really cool to see companies do ish like that.. Some families and children or anyone fighting some sort of disease or cancer, the only thing they have keeping them alive is organizations like this raising money, whether it be for testing and research, or for treatments...

Hey ya'll! Thanks for your support. I am going to write a little story so you understand what I have to see at work every day.

I work in the Hematology/Oncology pharmacy at Egleston in Atlanta. I make the chemotherapy and many other medications that each child receives. Brittany, a 16 year old girl has been diagnosed with cancer for 15 months and admitted to the hospital for the past 5 months or so. The doctors and nurses have been giving her so many narcotics (high doses) so that she has no pain at the end of her life. On Monday, I got to see Brittany as the nurse pushed her in a wheelchair. They were on the way back from a little trip to the outside garden at Egleston that Brittany had requested. She wanted to see the clouds, sun, grass, and the world outside. She looked very frail; her head was hanging down as if her neck muscles were too weak to hold her head up. The oxygen tank was so loud since she requires so much of it to breathe. As with any chemo patient, she also had no hair what-so-ever on her body. Tuesday morning, Brittany passed away. It warms my heart to know that I helped her stay alive for as long as she could. I think it was a sign on Monday when she wanted to go outside for the first time in months. Please think about Brittany and her family and go enjoy a blizzard tomorrow and you, too, can help the kids. Thanks so much for your support.
