I have some extra money to throw around. I just can't decide how I want to spend it. Initially I wanted to mod up my Integra, but now I am considering putting money towards the new Evo MR. I am an Acura/Honda lover and would rather prefer those, but I love the new Evos. What would you guys reccomend, what would be my best bet? Mod the Integ, or throw down some money on a new Evo? Thanks.

About $10k to work with, if I go with the Evo I'll make payments or save some more. Or just tune the hell out of my Integ.

Ok heres one way for you to decide what you want to do.

The new EVO= Spending more money on monthly payments with less money to mess with the car/ New car with new car warranty/ Less problems with it breaking down because of random little shit (unless you start modding heavily)

The Old Teg= More money to spend to mod and customize however/ Old car with old car problems/ Might breakdown occasional cuz, well its old.

IMO go with the teg you got less of a commitment in terms of money to put towards it. Also the EVO will lose value the longer you own it and the value of the teggy will go up as you slowly mod it.

Good luck.

Thanks to everyone. I agree with you guys and will put it towards modding the Integra. I just have to decide where my priorities lie. Intake, full exhaust. I do not want to do many exterior mods. Maybe an OEM spoiler, idk about CF hood. I just want it to be very clean looking, very fast, and still a daily driver.

Depends on what you plans are. I would do the 10K down on a new car and just drive. But mitsu is bad about voiding warrantys if you do anything to them....

Why not sale the integra and buy a use EVO?

Then again i love cars underwarranty, and the day my factory stuff is up i trade. Mainly becuase if the car is broekn im not working.

Better check the insurance on that EVO first... some companys rape you.

id say get a evo u know itll be reliable and it makes lots of power with minors mods and no disrespect or anything but i think u will get noticed more with an evo than any teggy due to the fact that tegs are so common just my 2cents

Thanks guys for all the advice. I am definitley going to work on the engine before doing any aesthetic mods. Sorry I am very new to engine mods/swaps. What is the best engine to swap in? B series, K series? Thanks again.

you should already have a LS (B18B1)= Nonv-tec..just go with a ls/Vtec converison...pretty simple to do and good, talk to Mr.Vteckidd and go to www.honda-tech.com and that should help you with any needs..:goodjob:

btw i forgot to add this but you'll need to get the ls/vtec converison kit, a new v-tec head off any b-series v-tec, which ever one you decide to go with....you'll have to drill holes for oil lines and stuff like that but no need to worry most shops can do all of the neccasry work and get all of the stuff taht you'll need..but i would suggest getting all of the stuff posibble that you can get ahold off to save oyu some money then take it to a shop and get al the work you want done there...lol just my opinion.....

Damn, sorry haven't checked here in a while. I have been meaning to get some pics up soon. My sister borrowed my camera now and is in NY right now but will be back sometime next week. So I'll take some pics when she gets back and I won't hesitate to ask for help if needed. I am gonna have some buddies of mine work with me on it also. Thanks again.
