I got 3 cars....i 1/8th scale off road, a 1/10the scale off road truck, and a 1/10th scale NTC3. os .18 in the smaller cars, and a .28 in the 1/8th. My little on road cars impossible to drive, it breaks all 4 tires loose from start to finish, and its no fun when 2nd gear kicks in cuz it starts to get sideway:eek:

Look at spending between 200 and 400 Depending on what you want.. they are all fun I loved my old RS-4... You can easily spend towards 700 bucks on just a roling chassis but thats a little overkill eh??

Yep, i bought a different car instead of the one that i was talking about. it's got a .18 in it and 2 speed like yours. Even if i find the biggest parking lot that is a whole strip mall with a publix and all sorts of other shit completely empty, it only takes a few seconds to cross the whole thing. and yes, 2nd gear hits it gets squirly. I've found that different pavements determine how much traction you get. I was on one last night across from sidelines on roswell road and you couldn't go above 1/4 throttle without it spinning, and it's got race tires on it.

The one i just picked up ahas a starter box but the engine is pretty new so it's being a pain to get it started sometimes. I had to hook it up to my car battery to get it enough juice to crank the car, but today i couldn't even get it to crank. :( Oh and i think i melted some of the insides of the starter box :-o oops...

Any tips? Should i get a pull starter or something maybe?

It shouldn't be that hard to start where it's melting stuff......if thats the case, something is wrong. Might be simple as just getting the motor tuned......or something could be binding, too high of a compression, ect ect......

CEN CT-4S for me...73.4 mph out of the box....I have yet to hit 2nd gear. I am too afraid because by the top rpm in first it is already way down the street lol. They are fun and I can drift mine but ever so often...I need a new arm for my suspension because mine ran out of batteries and was stuck in high and I had to step on it to stop it so I could turn it off.

Mine was 360 + tax, shipping, nitro fuel, and starter kit all equaled $425. It is a fun hobby when you arent fixing parts. For those starting...get at least 3 GOOD glow plugs, a couple GOOD chargers or one Heavy duty one (costs over $100 easily), and gears because they rip so easily unless you have metal ones lol.

anyone want to buy a schumacher menace stadium truck? I dont have time to drive it anymore. its in pretty good shape, but has a decent amount of scratches on the bottom of the chassis. Its got a 3spd tranny and a carbon fiber disk brake. tops out around 70mph...
