View Full Version : new business?
So I've got this buddy that collects shoes, sneakers to be more specific. He's got a closet full of sneakers that he never wears, is this normal?
So now he's started getting them wholesale from across seas. I guess what I am asking is do the people of IA think that there is a market for "collectable sneakers" in Atlanta?? I'm thinking of partnering with him, but don't know the market...
Any advice?

Would the Marvel Comics Bapes count as skate shoes?

There's a huge market for Bapes, Jordans, Fila F-13's, AF1's, and Timbs nationwide!!!
Many sites have their Bapes going for $70-80 + shipping, Jordans for $80-200 + shipping, Fila's @, well no one has been smart enough to sale them online yet, AF1's at $75-100 + shipping, and Timberlands @ around $100-200 + shipping!
Alot of the companies get those generic pre-made websites to sale something and get paid pretty well! All I know is if you can't keep up with the orders you'll have some lawsuits coming quick! Also, take your own pics of the shoes he'll offer if you'll be online because alot of people use other sites pics of shoes and lose business.
I say there is a market for it.. if I could find some old school shoes I would buy em up quickly.. there are three specific pairs that if I could find them I'd be willing pay nicely for them. I know a number of people that feel exactly the same way.

I have a couple of connection overseas with kicks, you HAVE to do your research. There are A LOT of Fake stuff out there. "Factory Variant" Copies, to be exact. There are only a few that has Authentics unless it doesn't matter to you.
Thanks for all of the feedback. I guess I will pick up a pair or 3 and throw them on ebay. Anyone interested pm me details and I'll see what he can do...
