man for himself and we can’t prosper in our American dream if we have to pay taxes.

Strive for a school-less community.

Always vote against anything that supports the idea of public schools. Those
union working teachers are only going to teach our kids liberal propaganda that
the democrats invoke. Home or “private” school your child, that way they won’t
be subjected to diversity and the real world. You can teach them what they
should be taught: religion and your idea of moral values.

Move to the suburbs.

There is too much culture in the city and that means more crime. It’s a fact that
white people don’t commit crime and there are only white people like you in a
subdivision. Pick one with a eutopic style name like 'Rancho Republico' or
'White Estates.' The more gates the better.

Ignore what’s really going on.
Pay little to no attention on social and global political issues. The less you know
the better. The truth only gets in the way of happiness, and to acknowledge the
truth means getting out of your comfort zone. If something doesn’t affect you,
pretend it’s not worth caring about. This means only caring about your common
interest and not that of humanity. Always try to benefit at the risk of others.
Ignorance and arrogance are bliss so why waste energy worrying. If you are to be
a Republican you can’t have compassion for those not in your business/blood line
(even then it’s okay to only think of yourself).

A flat tax wouldn't fund all the wars we keep starting. It's really simple, if you do a sales tax of say, 12% on everyone. People who are now paying 40% income tax will never be able to pay more than 12%. I totally agree that 40% income tax is ridiculous, but the fact still remains that people that are making enough money to be in that bracket are living comfortably. So, yeah, it'd be nice to have a flat tax or lower income tax for the rich, but we'd have to shut down some of the 750 military bases in 135 countries, and I don't see anyone from either party doing that any time soon.

The proposed "flat/fair tax" is nowhere near 12%, more like 20% straight across the board on WHATEVER EVERYONE BUYS. Buy more, pay more taxes. You do away with income tax all together, therefore you get to KEEP your ENTIRE paycheck NOW, i.e. an instant 20-25% minimum raise. So are you following the dots???? You get to KEEP MORE by getting your ENTIRE paycheck rather than 75% of it. EVERYBODY pays 20% on things they buy, therefore you are STILL AHEAD by atleast 5%.

But the big magic part that you are totally ignoring and not taking into consideration is this:

100% of people WILL PAY TAXES.

You get that? Explain how an "independent contractor" that now works for cash money under the table can get around NOT paying when he gets a gallon of milk or buys clothes? EVERYONE will eventually have to pay. It doesn't matter if you are an illegal, get paid under the table, or use a fake SS#. EVERYBODY will pay because EVERYBODY has to eat, drink, and be merry. Tax them when they eat, drink, and are merry and VOILA!!!! 100% participation!!!!

Right now you have millions of people collecting FEDERAL money and not paying INTO that same FEDERAL system they are syphoning. Why is the SS/Medicare going bankrupt???? Again, you have MORE pulling OUT than putting IN. It doesn't take rocket scientists from NASA to tell you that only lasts for so long before you go belly up. IF you have MORE money, i.e. via EVERYBODY paying taxes, you will obviously have MORE money into a system that is being syphoned by the millions of dollars by lazy people.

On top of that, a flat/fair tax will promote SAVINGS. Remember, you pay "taxes" if you SPEND, not if you SAVE IT. So if now a $5000 salary only nets me $3000 to take home and that just barely scrapes us by every month, how would $5000 bring home help???? You still have the same level of expenditures. Most everything we buy right now has an EMBEDDED 22% tax anyway. That is money suppliers stick to consumers to make up for their costs of doing business. Competition will force those suppliers to bring down their prices as they lower their employment costs because they no longer have to pay for SS, FICA, Unemployment, etc. on EACH AND EVERY LEGAL EMPLOYEE like we pay now.

So what would happen if that same family that scrapes by on $3k/mo suddenly had $2k to INVEST???? :thinking: Maybe in a year or two, they would no longer be scrapping by? Maybe. Maybe not. BUT it is NOW up to THEM to do so. Right now, they don't have that choice. Again, another big plus.

Personally, I'm really tired of liberal minded people thinking everything is someone else's fault. People need to take responsability for their own actions. Good or bad. Very few successful people INHERIT their success. 99% of them figure out how to do it on their own. Why should successful people be punished for their hard work? Why should we take away anything from them to give to people that 99% of the time have made bad decisions already? Instead of forcing people to help others, why not inspire people to help others? Instead of taking from the rich to give to the poor, why not figure out how to make the poor rich?
