Whos going... Last week was a lot better. No lines to get in. Alot of nice runs. Just need more imports to come out!!!

Yeah definately more imports. There is like 3 times as many domestics. I dont have anything against domestics, but there needs to be more imports.

i think the big reason why there are less imports is the location. Alot of ppl with muscle cars seem to live close by (atleast thats what the announcer guy said but he did call an Evo a Subaru so....) I drove down there from gwinnett and traffic was terrible so that might keep alot of ppl from going. If it was a saturday event maybe it would be diffrent.

yeah he jus sucked. I think he should jus not say anything about cars and jus tell us who wins, left side or right side.... but some1 might want to label the sides for him just incase

The car is fine and dandy. It'll be running later on at Commerce (Hot 'N Fast Sport Compact Grudge Race) if it don't rain. http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif It was just a bad launch if you could call it a launch. I couldn't launch like at a dragstrip since the starting point at AMS slants downhill. I would start to roll forward when I rev up and hold my RPMs and the flagger didn't like that too much. I had to improvise a quick rev up and launch as soon as the flagger lifts his arms and that's where I screwed up in the finals.... too low of an RPM when I launched and I bogged. http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/idb.gifOh well... yea, made it to the 3rd round and i was fairly happy with that considering it was the first time i've ever drag raced and the car is completely set up for the opposite type of driving, but i had a good time :). probably come back to the next one and see how it goes again.

i just decided to take full advantage of the little staging area where you can warm up your tires and do a few little burnouts :). i know, compeletely unneccessary for street tires but thats what happens when us drifter nerds go drag racing...haha.

A 81 RX-7 that was spraing won for the imports and almost won it all but he missed 3rd gear!!!! He was n front of the mustang with fat ass MT's the whole time till he missed 3rd!!!! I was pissed!!!
