yes its a 81 so no emmissions but would you want to drive it on the street? mabe on the weekends but you would get about 5mpg if you keep your foot out of it but that would be near impossable with a car like that!

If its was mine and I was going to drive it on the street I would paint it white and get some pony wheels and make it a 8sec sleeper

Wow..so honestly if osmeone who wasnt like a super mechanic and just wanted to buy this for a weekend car..would it be hard and expensive to keep it mantained like would the engine need to be rebuilt all the time or trannys fixed or what?..i would be interested but not if its just a money pit besides the whole mpg part

yes it drives really well on the street only problem is its loud, the car has a ton of passes on it and i freshened teh tranny and it still looked brand new,its teh best parts you can buy everywhere, you couldnt build it for double the price, and motor is reliable too, just change teh oil every 3 or 4 times to the track and put clean plugs in it,its detuned right now for reliability so not as much juice on it but still runs 575-590 in the 1/8th on a really safe tuneup,im just getting out of racing motor and trans is fresh,10 k somebody buy this thing before i change my mind

Maybe I was misinformed, but I thought it was not suggested to run aluminum rods on a street car since they have to be replaced so often due to the rods stretching. Not trying to bash because the car is badass but was just wondering the facts since you are running a set. Good luck with the sale.

ITS ALSO NOT A GOOD IDEA BC U CANT ENGINE BRAKE WITH ALUMINUM RODS BC THEY WILL BREAK TOO.

I THINK HE MEANS STREET CAR BC IT HAS FULL INTERIOR OR TAILIGHTS AND WORKING TURN SIGNAL. LIKE IT CAN RUN IN THE STREET CAR CLASS IN RACES.

ok let me try to answer some of these questions, first about the aluminum rods, yes there not the not the most desirable street rod,the main enemy is heat but this car runs nice and cool, big aluminum radiator and a csi water pump,it can be street driven to like a local cruise spot or somethign but theres noway i would wanna drive it everyday or down teh highway, the car does still have full interior and all working strret equipment, and i have some incar vids that ill post
