damn :( even the DE blocks are different from the DET's right? besides higher compression pistons, i think even the cranks are different (not sure but i think i remember me and PSINXS talking about this also)
The top ends are different too are the s14 DE's VTEC (lol, VTC)?? i'm not sure. the DET's have a different valvetrain as well.
but the buyer can slap on a DET exhaust manifold/hairdryer and plumb it and you're good til it blows, hahah then swap it again? I guess its a reliable DD tho and good on gas, but i'd prefer the KA


just to clear some things up b4 sum1 thinks you can easily make it a DET

i dotn see why you would've stuck an NA sr20 in there for even swapping it..
but whatever..
what car did the motor come from?
6500 and you can get a sr20det swapped 95 s14 for that price.

just letting you know.. you wont ever get what you're asking.

Damn dude, Not trying to be a ass but Stock S14 with KA is about 6K right now! Yes I know Is just a SR20DE but its still a Swap car! :goodjob: Also if you don't even know what motor this came out of, I don't see why you are posting! Its came out of a 94-98 S14 Js and Qs everywhere in the world other then US! :lmfao:

I'd swap an sr20de into an s14 long before I'd put an rb20 or ca18 in there...

That car is pimp.

I'd love to own a sr20de s14 one day.

freaking awesome motors though...mine is bone stock...even stock airbox...and i pulled a 92 prelude with h23 i/h/e from a dig up to 100

my car is lighter than a 240 but it's still a VERY strong motor

140HP is the S13 Motor without VTC, the S14 and S15 SR20DE has VTC that is why the S14 and S15 Motor has the slop on the back of the Valve Cover! Its 160!
