So I'm trying to decide on what route I want to go with on the Yaris. I've already started on a full TRD/Cusco suspension so that's easy. As far as looks and such, I'm thinking of a complete JDM route. Expensive as all hell, but probably worth it in the long run. Here's a list of what I want to do.

Fujitsubo Axle-Back Exhaust - $392

JDM Toyota Fender Lamp - $254 ($74 for Non-Power Lamp)

JDM Toyota Modellista Front Bumper - $1,280 Unpainted

JDM Toyota Modellista Side Skirts - $450 Unpainted (For 5-Door. Modify for Fitment)
http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=1211

JDM Toyota Modellista Rear Skirt - $450 Unpainted
http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=1213

JDM Toyota Rally Spoiler - $300 Painted

JDM Toyota LED Taillights - $320

Total - $3,446 + Tax, Freight, Paint, Ect...

Those are just the exterior parts. I've already sourced all of the Vitz RS interior bits and they're relatively cheap. Also, I'm currently rollin' on some Rota Slipstreams which I'd swap out once the body panels are done. Just wanted to get some input. Constructive Criticism is welcome.

Why are you modding it?

I thought it was your DD.

Why are you modding it?

I thought it was your DD.It is, but I plan on making it unique. Might as well go all out if at all.

I mean do you want a vitz look alike yaris that would be hard to sell to someone else?

Unless its paid off and you plan on keeping it for a long time I wouldn't touch it.

Unless its paid off and you plan on keeping it for a long time I wouldn't touch it.It's only financed for 4 years and yes, I plan on keeping it for a while. As for selling it, I keep all of my factory body panels so undoing it would be easy enough. Then sell the JDM stuff on the Yaris/Vitz forums if it came to that.

Looks good but 4,000 is a bit much for exterior only. With out paint at that.

I like the rear spoiler.

What are the fender lamps? They look like pimpin curb feelers mixed with a lighthouse so you can park easier.

its already unique...who else has a yaris to begin with? imo i wouldnt touch it, just drive it and save your cheese for a real car or your project if you have one, but thats just my opinion, make it yours, do whatever makes you enjoy the car more :goodjob:

I think they would look good on it. Nice idea, I'm guessing you aren't going to mess with the engine at all.

What are the fender lamps? They look like pimpin curb feelers mixed with a lighthouse so you can park easier. That's exactly what it is. A parking light.

I think they would look good on it. Nice idea, I'm guessing you aren't going to mess with the engine at all.For now, no. Probably just intake and exhaust to give it a nice tone. Once the warranty is up, I'll look into the Blitz or TRD Supercharger.

Y not jus swap out the engine for a celica engine/blitz supercharge

Y not jus swap out the engine for a celica engine/blitz superchargeYou can swap in the 2ZZ, but from what I hear, the supercharger doesn't fit.

If it were up to me, I'd probably just get the rear spoiler and the Fujitsubo exhaust.
I had a Fujitsubo Legalis R on my AE86 and the quality was amazing.
Just my :2cents:

Personally, I would spend the money toward paying it off first then I would mod it to my personal preference and enjoy it.

yeah no point in having a sweet jdm ride and your paying it off so long that your style has changed we all know how we were when we got out first cars im gonna admit i had alittle ricer in me had neon tubes and washer lights uggghhhh just thinking about it makes me mad but eh i say would be a sweet car if you add that stuff now that i think about it it might be smarter to get the jdm stuff for it now before the demand gets too high
