A friend at work told me that commerce is upping the prices to race. Fridays are going up to 30 bucks instead of 20. Is this true? supposidly they have to up the prices bc its costing to much to resurface the track and keep it up.

more likely due to demand. when it takes you 3 hrs to go thru tech, and then you wait in the staging area all night to get 2 passes you know there are too many people. They can charge $30, still have a good turnout, and possibly make more or the same amount of money.

i know if they ACTUALLY maintained the track properly , you know resurfacing it once a year and doing things like using VHT on the track like all the good tracks do people would be much more inclined to go there and maybe even pay 30 bucks. you are right about there not being as many people going there on test and tune nights because they are tired of paying 20 bucks to drive down a shitty track when they can drive a little longer and get to a decent track that cost the same and actualy preps it.

not that im huge into drag racing, just saying ;)

i would say about a month and a half ago. I didnt race though because it was windy as hell and they were only doin 1/8. I agree though its a crappy track for what you pay that why iw as sayin 30 bucks if the prices do rise is rediculuos. They dont pull anything what they used to and i wish they would notice it.

About tuner shootout. Is it gonna be well divided into classes? or would i be matched up against a 5.0 mustang lol...
