Unfortuantely, it wasn't so monumental. I actually wished that I had been robbed or shot at this time instead of what happened today:
6:00am - about 5 minutes to arrive at work, early, to start my new route
6:37am - arrive at work after taking 2 detours for the tanker truck crash at my exit
7:00am - head out to Howell Mill Rd to my first stop
7:30am - hear a noise and look out my side window to see one of my handtrucks bouncing down Hwy 75, luckily it bounced right off to the side
8:00am - arrive at first stop
8:15am - got to print the invoice for first stop only to find out the printer has gone out
9:25am - new printer finally arrives, only to find out it doesn't work either
9:30am - head to meet another driver to run my invoices with him, only to find out that they guy that brought me the printer took my computer with him back to the warehouse
12:30pm - after sitting through 2 hours of traffic(from that same truck wreck) I finally manage to make it my first stop of the day
2:20pm - done with first stop....it's about this time that my phone rings and it's Julio wanting to know where his beer is
3:00pm - get to Julio's store and deliver only to find out that my salesman forgot to send in another 100 cases.
Now I get to go back to see Julio tomorrow for that 100 cases.
God.
Dammit.
Later, QD.
