Nyteryder vs Crafty vs Lingenfelter pt.1

After Craftys (ANyone want to run tonight) thread, me, clark, crafty, and andy(lingenfelter) met up for some hwy pulls. After waiting hours for everyone to show up, we ended up leaving a min. before clark showed up. My first run with crafty went from a 55 roll and I put a good bus on him and the second run was from a 40-45 roll and it was the same outcome. I believe he is suppose to be rejetting his n20 and something else with his bottle or something, (i cant remember it was almost 3am) and come back out tonight.

Me and the vette had time for one pull on our way backto the spot. OUr run was unplanned so I was a little hard because of how loud my car is. After three failed atempts, his passenger tried to flag a 3 count(which was hard to see because I was in the left lane) which made it a little hard to BB. We got as close to an even start as we were gonna get than and he put 1 1/2-2 cars on me. I believe with better flaging and more BBing it could have been a better race but a fun night never the less.

Yeah it was fun, but dont get it twisted, we both dont know what the outcome would be, thats why we ran. You told me that when you ran the vette, yo uwere haveing problems with 3rd, not that you bottle was empty. If yoiu were not on the bottle than how much do you make off the bottle. The guys there were claimin that you make 370whp off bottle and if that was the case I would have put buses on you. There is no real way of knowing because you can easily change the jets that you ran yesterday. Still all in fun regaurdless

400hp ls1 would beat a 450hp mustang MOST cases

My ls1 vette, with H/C about 420hp motor raped every mustang it every came into contact with 500hp coupes, saleens, roush you name it, modded 03-04 was a good race until I turned the bottle on....

So crafty needs a "full" bottle and you guys should run again...this time on video

He also mentioned his gears were changed and thats why we went from a slow roll. It was Mike02Ls1 on this forum and his roomate was giving chase on his bike. It was a close race but I still edged him out by 1 to 1 1/2 cars depending on the race.

Maybe vehicle weight plays a big factor in both cases?

It's all good that I got beat.. The first two times the vette and I ran was from 50-90 and we were side by side each time then the third race the car fell on it's ass (No bottle pressure) plus i slipped and shifted into OD.. oh well.. I had fun and so did everyone else. So why is everyone fighting over this.. This shit is all for fun.. I enjoyed hanging out with everyone just because we all enjoy the same shit..

And what REDGTS said is very correct.. before this new nitrous setup the most my car made was 473hp 496tq on a 100shot.. I raced a 03 cobra with 59?hp 62?tq with slicks and me on DR and pulled it 3.5 cars.. three different races from a dig and a slow roll.

It's 416rwhp...lol Yeah it was a close race, BB helps alot with turbo cars... So much has to play in a race, aero,weight,gearing,etc etc... Still a damn good race for what it was... Oh don't forget lack of traction....lol

Hows the leg holding up Mike? Are you back to work yet or still rehabilitating?

Yeah the weight between the cars is big difference.. Me i'm at 3,570lbs race weight.. Yeah your speed shifting is good Daniel son....lol I've learn not to speed shift much unless I want to spend another 1,500 rebuilding my T56...lol Leg is doing good, landed a new job with more pay, plus it is a desk job so my leg will be feeling grrreat...

I hate to hear about you losing to import but oh well........FYI i rebuilt my T-56 for around $600 using carbon blockers,new syncros, new bearings, steel 3/4 shift fork, and billet slyder keys......works great and holds up to abuse much better than before :yes:
