Wii Release day unveiled?

read a news article that included a press release by nintendo where they said they would "hide" the release date in their press release...from the info they gave, it seems that october 2nd will be the release date....my credit cards are ready! ebay here i come!

Yea, it seems it's going to be in October. BUT... I doubt we'll have the same shortages we had with the Xbox and will be having with the upcoming PS3. Nintendo are very good at providing good initial stock shipments. I hope they have a shortage, cuz I'll milk them lil Wii's for all they are worth. They are actually in production already, so I know they'd have enough. The game of the year will be Madden 2007/Red Steel or Zelda.. IMO

Yea man... I hope they come out w/ a new version of paperboy. Cuz you could use the wii-mote to throw the newspaper. But wait.... PUNCHOUT!!!! If they would make that game, I'd go wild!!!

knowing nintendo, i wouldn't count on that being a solid release date.... the N64 was delayed over and over for like a year lmao, so it wouldn't suprise me if their "hiding" of the release date is just an effort to not catch as much shit for delays.
