and I think I'm about to go do so again...

We never really get warned about what files are what unless they're crime scene photos or whatever.. so on this one job, it said "funeral programs". I'm thinking "ok... no big deal.. do these all the time". So I open the file. Page 1 is the person's name... no big deal. I notice that the date of birth and date of death are only a few weeks apart. I think "Aww... baby died..." So I click over to page 2, checking the file..

WTF... there's a picture of a fucking dead baby on the inside of the funeral program.. pic taken just like it was alive... little stuffed animal next to it, in a crib... I wouldn't have noticed that the baby was dead until I saw that there was a single stitch in each eyelid holding them shut, and then I noticed the skin was all peely and stuff.... oh my god... I seriously am dry heaving over here.... ugh!... Who the fuck puts a picture of a dead baby in a funeral program?!?!

I think I'm gonna go puke again...

I do all the crime scene photos here... people's brains splattered across their living rooms don't bother me... don't ask me why... but I think it was the eye stitch thing that got me on this one... shit was FUCKED UP... looked like something straight out of a damn horror flick. And the fact that the pic was staged like the baby was alive... and the peely skin... oh god.... brb....

that is just wrong and disrespectful to the baby's life no matter what or how old it was. what the hell were they thinking.

Saw that shit in person going through Tennessee a few years ago, 4 lanes of Hwy shut down cuz there was parts everywhere, had to merge all the lanes into the shoulder to pass. Coroners or whoever were out there putting the parts in bags, it was a pretty fucked up thing to see

I wouldn't have shown you... work rules say I can't, for one, and for two... ugh.. it's just disgusting.

So yeah it was a mexican family who just picked up the order... is this a common thing or something? Like, they seemed totally not disturbed as they looked through them....

i dont see how its possible to not be disturbed by a funeral program for that. might just be me, but i will never attend something with that

^^right? And the last name on the check they paid with was the same as the baby's last name, which makes me think they were in the family... I'm sorry but if I saw ANYONE in my family dead, I would seriously be scarred for life..
