So, I just recently moved into my new house and I decided to hook my Xbox up. I plugged it in, pushed the power button, and nothing happened. Strange. I switched power cables; same result.
After looking online for a few, I found a complaint that the solder would be disconnected where the power connected to the circuit board on the inside. I opened up my Xbox to find something even more amazing:
The "dead" Xbox:

Let's open her up!

With the DVD player and hard drive out of the way, the motherboard and power supply are exposed.

Oh look! The fucking centiped was the bridge between two points on the PSU's circuit board. Great!

Moral of the story: Even Xboxes have bugs.
