So, my Xbox just suddenly stopped working v. catastrophic bug in the system (pics)

So, I just recently moved into my new house and I decided to hook my Xbox up. I plugged it in, pushed the power button, and nothing happened. Strange. I switched power cables; same result.

After looking online for a few, I found a complaint that the solder would be disconnected where the power connected to the circuit board on the inside. I opened up my Xbox to find something even more amazing:

Its really no big issue to take apart as long as you remember where the screws went haha. I've taken apart my old Xbox before and fixed the "Disc Read Error" on at least 5 PS2's.

That's a crazy ass story though haha.

100 to 1 it is the solder'd connects from the power cord inlet to the circuit board. :)

Scared? No. I have AWD, so it handles the water better than most vehicles on the road. Now, do I want to get it wet, have rain spots, etc? No, not really. It's a $100,000+ car. It's not something that you want to abuse, fuckup, or get wet if you don't have it.

By the way, there IS a replacement for displacement: technology by way of turbos. ;)

I would assume so... Probably during the move as I had the doors open and things were sitting outside for a short period of time.

Dunno. I have a friend with a spare PSU, so I will plug it in and see if it works when I get ahold of the spare.

I plan on dropping a large amount into investments and my house. I'll look at picking up a 997TT or 998TT in 5-10 years; maybe sooner given where my job takes me. No hurry right now. I plan on getting my MBA soon, anyway, so I need to focus on that as well.
