Alright I know alot of yall will think this is a stupid thing to do but I think it will be pretty nice.

I have been wantin to get a V8 for my 97 dodge dakota but the 5.9's and 5.2's are expensive as hell. So I got to thinkin and decided I am goin to put a carborated(sp?) 350 in it. Carborated since I ain't got to get a new computer and wiring harness and all that crap and it will be easier to work on. I figured it would help me out in shows since it is somethin you never see. I know 350's are in everything but I have never heard of one or seen one in a dakota.

I talked to my cousin and he said he could make my motor mounts and help me put it in.

What yall think?

fuck a 5.9. they are expensive and parts are expensive for them. parts are cheap for 350's

didnt think about parts...ya the 350 would prolly be a better choice for a long life and ease of matience\matience cost.

yea and dodge trannys suck ass. right now mine is goin out and it only has 90k miles on it.

Figure just get me a decent 350 and rebuild it if it needs it. buy a few parts for it to make it look nice. later on get a set of heads, cam, and full exhaust.
