i have a gsr transmission and when i let off the gas and idleing down for say a red light something scrubbs, any idea what that is, if its something thats going to take a few days to fix then im going to try to find someone to trade for a ls or a si trans because i cant have my car down.

does the noise go away when engage the clutch ?

if it makes teh noise when ur clutch is pressed might want to look at Throw out bearing
if it makes noise when the the clutch is released might be inputshaft bearing

ok thanks, its when my clutch is out and is that hard and expensive to fix.

I know the answer, and I work on transmissions. I could help you out. But the moderators on this site have too much an elitist attitude.

That would be the moderators that are deleting posts that I made in my threads providing installation help that I have personally written. Sounds to me like somebody is trying to confine all the information on one site.

Yup, mine does the exact thing (every once in awhile). Not a big deal I don't think.
