Despite not shooting a gun ever... or killing anyone in this game, it still looks amazing. It's made/produced by Valve so it's most likely going to use the Half-Life 2 engine as well as its physics engine. Oh... and a FPS that requires a lot of logic and brains is enough to convince me to play. Watch the video in the link to see what I'm talking about.

This is trailblazing a path long forgotten that the gaming industry used to follow. Puzzle games. Remember how addictive the simplest of games used to be? Forgot my source but I've been reading that the gaming industry is going to try to start releasing the simplistic addictiveness they used to have with the twist of modern day technology back into their titles. This looks great. Valve has alot of great minds in the mix. Their stories with half-life and all the stuff they used to do with half-life back in the day should speak for themselves on how good they are on telling a story.

Anybody remember Gunman Chronicles? and Blue-Shift? haha... anyway... this one looks just as promising. I hope it catches on.

Unfortunately, unlike the past where you can just download the mods, Valve is now making you BUY them, like expansion packs, for HL2.

Upon further reading, it seems that this will actually be an addition to Half-Life 2: Episode 2, not a stand alone game... but I'm sure with it built into the HL2 engine, add-ons will take full adantage of it.
