Car: 1964 Impala SS

Motor: 327 (not matching but out of a 64 SS) rebuilt with about 20k

Tranny: 350 THM also a rebuild with around 30k

The outside of the car is just about flawless, 95% of the chrome is avaliable, only 1 rust hole ( in spare tire well) $67 for a new one, two spots of bondo on car both on front fenders, Crager ET wheels, good tires, duel ext, car has not been cut or modded besides the Holly 780 carb and a mild cam. It has power steering, manual brakes, New shocks all the way around... if more info is needed PM me with questions

The bad: Of coarse the rust spot in trunk, the windshield is cracked ($199 for a new one)... thats about it, the car is as it was the day I got it and is a blast to drive. Car makes a great DD for anyone!

The NADA "Low Retail" is $15,300 - "Average Retail" $28,560 - "High Retail" is $57,840. Thats strait from the web site so no hatin!!!!!!!!!!!

Asking $11,000 OBO <<<<<<<:taun:

Man that my dads old car, nobody said anything about the motor only having 20k miles and the trans having 30k. and 11k? what are you thinking my dad was only asking $6,500 and you can find these cars all day long for less than that. maybe 11k if it was in better condition but damn dude come on

With a non numbers matching motor and needing paint that is about a $6k - $8k car max, not 11k.

They are correct on the price man...Hate to break it to you..You can ask anyone on this site that knows me...I know my classics...I've owned many of them...$6-$8k is even a little in the high range...if your willing to hold off you could prolly take it to the Rod Run in Pigeon Forge, TN. this fall and get $8k possibly if someone just really fell in love with the car...Nice ride though...I'm a huge fan of 64 impala's...but honestly unless your just needing money keep the car don't put alot into it and get crazy with it...They are climbing in price fast...

did his dad also tell you that the car was primed with spray paint. and when i was going to paint it for him the alt. fell off in to the motor because someone only put one bolt in it. and that the whole car had rust holes and they used news paper and bondo to fill them. so if you are going to paint it i would stip all the pimer off and fix the screwed up repiar job. i hope you didnt get screwed to bad and good luck with it.
