I live in gwinnett so going 2 days is pointless so if my g/f wants to come is $80 to get into a car show, not to mention drinks and food and gas to get there? In all seriousness, yes it sucks that the price went up, but I like to see some nice rides, meet new people, put names to faces, and make some connections with people in the industry. Plus, I would rather pay the extra money to have ludacris there, than have to hear kudzu more than I have to.

I am gonna go and enter, only because it is once a year you get to see a show this big. My car looks like shit but it makes more sence to enter. ME and my wife are going so that is 80 dollars to enter not including food and we will have to walk 23452345 miles to get in with the crowd and thats for only one day, spend 5 dollars more and go both days, put a big ass cooler in your trunk and be on the field. When you get hot just go to your car get some ac for a while and drink a few. And for all those talking about money I am assuming you were prepared to pay 70 to show, if 15 dollars is gonna make you change your mind about going than I would hate to see the kind of car you were gonna put in the show to begin with.

$85 entry includes 2 weekends tickets so It's actually $42.50 for the weekend.

Nationals Events includes:

Massive Car Show - Equilivant size shows are very few
5 Pro Drift Shows - featuring world class teams
Nationals Swimsuit Contest - Competition of this caliber is only once a year
Triple action Burn-out contest - I don't know if this exhists anywhere else
Hydraulic contest - World class competition like at the Lowrider world Finals
Ludacris Concert - Saturday
Skid Row Concert - Sunday
Vendor area - the likes of which only surpassed be SEMA

This all comes to about $5.30 per national event. That's way below market value if you went to any of these events alone.
