actually, after extensive testing the v1, 8500 x50 and another model by bel all came out about the same. each of the 3 offered SLIGHT advantages, but looking at everything, it was pretty much a wash. i'm preferential to the passport just cuz it's easy to mate it up with the zr3 shifter.

I really dont know, I had the car parked at a buddies house for a party, didnt know everyone there, had my car locked with the passenger window slightly down, but not far enouhg down to be able to reach in and disconnect it and take it.

To answer the "What are the police gonna do quwestion, absolutley nothing, i just wanted the report so that I would have it on record that it happened.

Trust me, they are what set the V1 apart from the others. They may "seem" like a gimmick of sorts, but they are all so real. Know which way the cop is helps you beyond words; especially when you have multiple signals going off. :)
