Defensive driving class to remove points from license

I've heard that you can take a defensive driving course (8 hours) for around $75 to remove something like 7 points from your license. Anyone know if this is really true and where would be the best place to take a class like this around Marietta?

I heard once in 5 years... tis tru sir. however, if its a court order, then you have to take it regardless. if its on your own will, you can use it to reduce points once every 5 years. if you makeyour appointment on a saturday, you can get it knocked out in just one day. the price ranges from $75-$90.

acutally there are some classes that only last 6 hours, and it will take the points off of your license, but you can only do that every 3 or 7 years...
