That one is not a hard top.

Oh, and why bother blurring the LP? 432 PKH Hall County is what shows in one pic.

I was thinking the same thing.

Too bad I'm not looking to get my Supra til sometime later this year or I'd be on that one with a quickness. Nice though. :goodjob:

i dont get it...why bash another sports car and be like " well i can do this with the money instead of buyin it yadda yadda yadda..." first off if you cant afford it, thats ok but dont say " if i had the money id probvably build up the civic" point is...you dont have the money and your not buildin up your car with 20g's in ya motor, just say bump and go on

The car looks amazing and the interior and exterior quality look great for an 11 year old car. But after all its an 11 year old car with close to 84 thousand miles and even though its a tt supra why is it almost 30 g's? You can get a close to new g35, 350z, evo, sti, cobra etc for those kind of prices, so what makes this so much money?

Because it is the last of the true supercars that were made in the 90's. Very little electrical work and you are producing mad horsepower.

Teg Dont forget that all of those cars that he listed are still being Produced where as the Supra is now a Classic and will increase in value. This one has all the Matching numbers therefor giving it more value than any modded car thats FACT!!!!!

That's simlpy the market value for the cars. It's just what people are willing to pay for them. Supply and demand....

Is 28k firm? kindof high since the bank will only loan 13.5k on this car...
I know the market value thing comes into par but c'mon 28K? I seen a 97 with 112k miles sell for 23k.. when is the "market" value of these cars going to down?

Brandon C

Not really anytime soon See above Post..as Far as Negotiating maybe a few Hundred Bucks But thats It. Loan value does not come into play on rare Cars..

the bank will only lend $13.5K because that is book value on them. $28k is the going rate. Joe, just because you have seen 1 or 2 cheaper doesn't mean that is the market value of the car. Maybe the owner of the car you saw was in distress. A lot of people don't know what they have either. There are a ton of older ppl who have had the car since it came off of the showroom floor. They don't know the market vakue of the car.

If you buy one and insure it, it is also best tthat you get a stated value policy on the car, they will base the premium on your stated value of the car. The insurance co. will try to give you $13k for a Supra as well. We learned our lesson on that when we wrecked our first one. They eventually ended up giving us $26k (we wanted $28 because that's what we paid...but we settled for the $26k), because we were able to prove the market value of the car. It took 3 months to get them to agree with us on the value of the car, but they finally came around and we didn't ven have to get an attorney. That's how clear it was that the market value was way more than the book value.

Why didn't you buy the Evo?

Brandon C

The Evo was a 2003 w/ 9k Miles on it that went for 24g's and we dont have the big bucks right now But we do see them

That wasn't a slam against your car. I know the value of a stock car with records of everything done. I was merely pointing out to him that if he was unwilling to purchase your car, that there were options and that he shouldn't clutter this thread with stories of other cars at other prices. People will always be able to find something cheaper. The car in question is what someone is willing to pay for it, and sometimes, you've got to pay to play. :)
