Just some updated pictures of my civic, I finally got some audio installed (this car didn't have ANYTHING when i bought it, no head-unit, door speakers, NOTHING)

I'm 16 and on a budget so i put what i could in it..

sooo i bought a jensen head-unit, some sony xplod speakers (they actually sound pretty decent, i've never liked sony's audio) and threw some 12's and an amp i had laying around in the trunk.

I'm impressed with the sound :D anyway heres the pics let me know what you think.

i KNOW the red interior sucks, I didn't do it and i just havnt figured out what i want to do about it... i guess I'll paint it all back to black but i wish i could find some used replacements for cheap.

anyway let me know what you think appreciate any criticism but i really am on a budget so this project is going kind of slow.

I was just gonna say something about the red interior..

your going down a slippery slope young man.. leading to the land of rice..

just put up a WTB thread for some interior pieces.. shouldn't be hard..

rattle can those wheels! bronze? black?

thanks for the reply i think the interior does look bad but i think the outside looks good i just want to change my headlights and tail lights to black and put a front and rear lip to match my side skirts..

for the interior im thinking about just painting all the red pieces black and getting new floormats.

sounds like you're on the right track with getting the lips and what not.

question tho, why did you mount the subs the way you did?

It really doesn't make a difference i just mounted them that way because I like the way the baskets look, you can mount them either way and it'll sound the same.

Here is the same exact box and subs when they were in my f150 (I had them turned the other way)

yeah, i know it doesnt matter which way you mount them..i was just curious.. cause i mean its just a box you had, so i didnt know if it was a reason, or just cause. whatever works for you man!
