On my way back from MSPi today some dude pulls next to me on i20 in one of these and starts looking at me and dropping into gears or something.. I just looked at him and shooked my head.. then he cuts in front of me and then goes back to the other lane and is revving and shit...

I said Ok.. I was in 6th gear and stayed in 6th gear.. never even down shifted.. and pulled about 2 or 3 cars on that piece of shit all the way up to about 110, I slowed down let him catch up and I just started laughing.....

The skys are like 16 second cars. No matter what those things look like... no matter what motor they drop in... I will always regard that and all other saturns as being cheesy.

The sky redline with the turbo 4 should be a much worthier adversary that I would imagine you'd have a very hard time beating. I look forward to seeing it and how quickly the aftermarket will take to it. You can get some pretty good parts directly from GMPP but I want to see some other aftermarket companies look into it.

i agree, i've heard of this car. should be very interesting to see how the aftermarket supports the redline version.

Anything can be made faster with upgrades ;)

Anyways .. this thread is useless.. as I already stated that.. My car is slow, I wasted my gas with a slower car.

Some of you are like offended and shit because I called the saturn a piece of shit... I mean, it is a saturn.

Aftermarket is already there.......engine and boost wise! Bill Hahn @ Hahn Racecraft has already gotten the stock 2.4 n/a to reach 400 crank (348whp).

He's factoring in the 15% drivetrain loss when coming up with those crank #'s though. I honestly want some dyno sheets of all of this to see how clean it gets to that number throughout the RPM's. I know what he says is true because he's the one who got a daily driver 2.2eco cavalier (OMG A CAVALIER I KNOW) into the high 11's earlier this year.

That thing was putting down somewhere in the range of 400whp with a mildly built engine (forged rods and pistons) and other knic knac stuff (stg 4 clutch, axles, and deletion of its balanced rods).

It'll be a nice replacement for the miata as it's already proving this with current SCCA wins and has gotten some miata enthusiasts to switch over.

Just some info to open some eyes even tho most won't care....... :lmfao:
