I hit the track tonight (commerce) As I have been trying to improve driving the TT.
Anyways, last time at the track my best time was a 14.7, Knowing the car has more then that, I just need a little practice.
Perfect time today. Commerce was slow and put in about 16 runs.
1st run did a 14.8.. Still not happy, had a couple of more runs after that and couldnt past the 15's. Like my 5th or 6th run I hit a 14.4 with a r/t of .008 :D
After that it was just for the better, it went great.. Good RT's and a few more a couple of more 14.4's and Finally hit a 14.2, I was like, Ok much better. After that run, I was going to call it quits and then changed my mind, I was like what the heck a couple of more.. after a couple of more runs
I hit a 14.00 @ 98.. I was like well shit.
I really think the car can hit a mid to high 13 w/ a better driver. The only mods I have GIAC/K&N Filter and DV.
Im doing a couple of more mods in the next few weeks, well see how it goes after that.
Anyways thought I share my night.. GIAC BABY :goodjob: :lmfao:

launching at about 3500.. boost kicks in so smooth man.. man, I love boosted cars :D
But, I was watching this video someone posted in the Video section on here, it was a dude with a s4 or something and it was showing him just launching and he was just revving up ( feathering the gas ) a couple of times and then just drop it.. I started doing that shit man.. I guess it worked.

Good job man....Just keep blipping the gas between 3500 -4000rpm and when your ready to go feather it out.....the fun starts though when you get a clutch and can launch between 5000 - 6000rpms

@ 6 k ? Not recommended, Unless upgraded clutch + I notice at/about 6 k the ko3 and ko4's are useless. No power.
My reactime times and 60 ft's were ok.. but top end power is not helping.
im getting a couple of more mods to help the motor breath better and maybe it will help a bit.

Nice job, Take time to learn the car, make you the best driver in your car. Droppin 8/10s is huge, Your MPH is maxxed for a high 13 sec pass, 98 mph really isnt quite fast enough for your weight of car and AWD to hit one too much better....Unless your 60 is off, if not you are there already at full potential.
Post 60ft, 1/8 also, and we can tell more w/ that.

How can that improve Greg?

R/T makes no diff, so never sweat that unless you are racing heads up... when lookin for a time, its all in the 60'. I'd love to see a 2.20 60' and that same following 1260 ft...you'd hit 13.8 w/o any trouble maybe even a high 6 or low 7. Practice and slippin the clutch is the trick, not dumping. Basicly you need to be like an auto tranny w/ a good stall, slip til its grippin then give it 100% pwr or full clutch disengagment, then effortless smooth shifts.
Nice job so far!
