definatly mexican... and mmm so good. I got it one time and the cornflakes were moldy and i told the lady there, and she tried to convince me that they were suppose to be like that. I was like since when are corn flakes green. She then took it back and didn't bring me another and still tried to charge me. I was kinda angry

roll up a ice cream ball, dip in crushed cornflakes, flash fry for bout 3 seconds, put whipped cream and chocolate on top....used to work at mexican restarunt so i can make it like no other

You could always use crumbled up pound cake instead. It's soooo much better than cornflakes. Just make sure that you freeze the ball before you fry it.

actually fried ice cream is well known in thailand also.. been there since ages.. iono where its originally from.. but the one i know fried ice cream.. they put it on fire.. and you eat it afterwards... they have it in thai resturants...
