Hey Windsor, what problems are you having, I think you and I are running the same clutch setup, the Mcleod twin disk with hydraulic throw out bearing.

yeah its a mcloed street twin setup but i just have the regular throwout bearing setup for the stock cable setup. I was having some problems getting the transmission installed. I noticed the release bearing was not centered properly with the 2 discs and pilot bearing and i assume this was causing the transmission to bind up as soon as the input shaft starting going into the release bearing.

I have the mcleod steel bellhousing as well and my clutch fork seems to be needing to be cut down some so i can swing it up more to line the release bearing with the clutch discs. I cut some if it off and grinded some off the little bolt on extender piece i got and i have it close but i think it needs to be grinded some more to be perfect.

I'm not sure if this problem is related to the twin disc clutch since its set back some compared to a single disc or some other problem related to the bellhousing. A lot of guys who run the mcleod twin disc run the lakewood bellhousing so i'm not really sure what the differences between the 2 bellhousings are.

I think the Mcleod bellhousing is actually a lakewood but I'm not sure. That sucks man, my motor is supposed to be done in the next couple of days and I have to start trying to assemble mine,

no,they are not the same. Mcloed is supposed to be a bolt on piece while the lakewood may require offset dowels to properly center the transmission and crank.

I've been talking to some of the people at mcloed about my problem and i'm going to send them some pics to see what they think. They have never heard of this problem and the head street twin tech Gene told me no grinding of the fork should be needed so i'm going to wait and make sure i don't have some other problem first.

NO WAY. We generally just talk shit online and flip coins in real life to decide who won. Activities such as "street racing" are highly prohibited by mike (vtekkid) so we just :blah: on here and do other things to decide who won the "races". Some of the bigger guys in the killsforum such as Nyteryder and AntiCristo arm wrestle to see who "won" the race. Its all bs nobody actually does any of this shit :goodjob: Oh and those videos arent really us racing. We steal them from other cities forums and claim them as us. I really drive an automatic '94 accord, nyteryder has a maxima, and anticristo just drives a no frills automatic impreza 2.5. Ch@dbee actually has a neon sxt which is slow as shit, and hell mike doesnt even drive. Poor guy rides a moped :( Hope that cleared shit up for ya :)
