As much as I hate a thief, I got to confront one and help out Jonesboro's finest this morning.
I pulled up to the Kroger in Jonesboro this morning to go to work and I parked beside a Chevy S10. I get out of the car and a skinny black dude is walking to the truck and climbs in the bed with a Kroger bag and one of those Kroger handbaskets with him. A lady from Kroger was following him outside and asked me to call the police. As I was doing that, the dude hops out of the truck and starts walking off and the truck leaves. I got back in the car to follow the dude and he hops back into the bed of the truck a little ways away. I pull on the main highway behind the truck and at the first intersection, he jumps out and starts running for some woods. I turned into the apartment complex on the other side of the woods and waited. Sure enough, he comes walking out and there I am. He sees me walking towards him and turns and runs back into the woods. As he cames back out the other side of the woods, I was told he walked right into the arms of the police. Wow.
Some days, I do more before 7am than most of ya'll do all day. Later, QD.
