How hard is it to weld a differential. I want to do it on my 240 to save money, or how much does it cost for a shop to do it? Would I be better off with a VLSD? Thanks any help appreciated. :goodjob:

i definitely say save up for a vsld. welded ones suck plus it wont be a limited slip diff it will be a spool diff with means that both wheels will always turn at the same speed so like when u pull into a parking spot the car is jsut gonna go chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp bc the wheel will skip and when u turn ur gonna always spin one wheel and like drift every turn lol

Welded diffs hold up fine if they are done right. Don't listen to the haters, weld that shit and be done with it!
