i know not many of you care about the hawks, but im still a fan, and i have been hearing a rumor about a trade that would send Josh Smith and a few others to Philly for Allen Iverson. i know it would be good for the team marketing wise, because it would bring attention and put asses in the seats, but i dont think it would work out in the long run. he wants out of philly because he wants to win, and he cant turn the hawks into a winning team all by himself, and plus his career is on the downswing and i think josh smith is gonna be a great player later on. what yall think??

i think they won more than 20 last year, rite?? plus id rather see josh smith serve up facials on mofos than see iverson shoot all night. either way their not gonna be a winning team

Iverson would go back to his old ways of not passing the ball. If he goes to the Hawks expect him to recieve the scoring title with 40+ ppg.

Look that will never happen plaus Josh Smith is slowly becoming an impact player. Anyone notice he has a outside shot now? Probably just me but his ass is staying in Atlanta. Alongside JJ (Joe Johnson), he's our franchise player. I hope he's a Hawk for his entire career becuase he'll be elite soon.

well either way, if iverson comes to atl, I'll be at the game. You're right about putting asses in the seats, but as far as winning goes, gotta watch to find out.

Are you sure you got your stats right that his career is on the downswing? he had probably his best season last year from what all the critics and his numbers are saying.

But he wont make the hawks, but he will for sure bring more people out to see him play.

I have a box @Philips arena with free(well it's not free but you know what I mean) and I couldn't stay to watch a Hawks game more than 12 minutes.

Man I can't see AI in any jersey other than a sixers one...

Oh and I wouldn't exactly say that arthur blank has 'turned around' the falcons just yet, they've still yet to string together back to back playoff seasons.
