engine check light--egr

94 accord w/h22a swap..check light engine comes on sometime but car run and pull good. i cleaned the intake manifold and replace the egr. the car won't pass emmision .is it bcause it's jdm motor. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

besides been a jdm motor . u cant get around the tech doing the visual test and automatically failing it, with the check engine light on .

when you replaced (EGR)it did you reset the check engine light ?

oh it wont pass emissions why? also...check engine light has no effect of 95 and older... they can still pass... all you gotta look for is cat. and run it...

ididnt knwo that . in Cali its different. i was told it was the saem here . any way . thanks for clearing it up

i do have a cat, i failed the dyno run. they said my rpm is to high, it won't hold the reading
