As stated in the title I need a crate to ship an engine. It seems as if freight companies charge less if the engine is crated. Any leads to where I can get one pretty cheap or free will be highly appreciated. Also, if any of you guys know a freight company or have a discount to get shipping to CA for less than $250 speak up.

Thanks

or do what most of our customers do, put the engine inside a tire and shrink wrap it to a pallet.

I get pallets from Home Depot on Barrett. There's a stack of nice ones on the left of the store.
