Is it your daily driver? Is there anythign wrong with the slushbox in your car now? Nof not, you'll be much better money ahead in selling your car and buying one that's already a 5 speed. You'll spend a ton of time and money to convert, when you can simply buy the same thign already done for prolly around the sae as your car is worth.

Are you looking for links.. Or are you looking for a kit? The nice thing is that the transmissions for E30s are cheap, and if you can do a clutch change on a car, than this is not much harder.

Here is a link:

And here is a list of DIYs:

Somebody actually makes a kit with all new parts to swap a 5 speed into your car? IDK, dude, I really think it'd cost more money than the car's worth. I mean, you've got to worry about consol, pedal sets, hydraulics retrofitting, swapping driveshafts, tranny mounts, clutch/pp/flywheel, etc. It's NOT an easy job. I'm not trying to discourage you (well, actually, yes I am), but do you really think this car is worth THAT much money? I mean, at least think about this part - How much is the car worth? Could you buy an equivelant 5 speed car for the same price you could sell your auto car for?

call strictly german 7066549103 They are located in Braselton a couple of miles past Road Atlanta. They have more e30 parts than you will ever find anywhere. Sometimes their quotes on the phone are high but if you go there you'll get a good price. I honestly don't think that a full used kit would be worth more than $500.

Also check out r3vlimited.com for tons of information about the e30
