I have a Limited Liability Company listed under Nemesis Digital.
However, one of my contacts says there is another Nemesis Digital in California. I had no idea until just recently.
Out of curiosity, could I have some legal issues coming up unless I change my name? :(

Honestly I dont think so....
The bail bonding company I work for is AAA Bonding Company pronouced Triple A Bonding...
and there are at lease 5 in the State of GA alone....So Honestly I would ask a Layer!

Believe it or not, this other Nemesis Digital, covers automotive events as well!

You could just change it to Nemesis Digital Photograhy
Although I really dont see them worrying about a company out in GA with the same name!

That's the thing though... :(. Im not wanting to limit myself to just Photography, since I manage my own site and work on site design. Also, in the future if I find a partner, I might start with videography as well.
I thought the location would be helpful, but Im planning to cover Irwindale Formula D. So I might have some coverage spread out to some other "local Cali" sites where itll get noticed...

Well there can be issues...but I honestly doubt a company in Cali will come after you....they will invesigate, probably rule it as a waste of time...I mean Nissan right now is sueing a family for having the domian name www.nissan.com
But in all honesty I doubt you have anything to worry about....

You can have a company with the same name. The LOGO (if trademarked) is the issue. If your logo is knockoff of theirs, or is a direct attempt to confuse customers into thinking that you are affiliated w/ them (like the fake Starbux company shit that went down) then you can be sued. Other than that I would not worry about it.
