When I say unlocked, I mean unlocked so it can go to any service... not unlock it from security...

so once it's unlocked, do you just take it to the provider you want and get their software?

we unlock GSM phones... phones that have sim cards... so after the unlocking you will be fine to use it like any other phone, software? do you mean like the actual service? or like special features... i'm sure you can call your provider and ask how to download the special features most of the time they are on their own website.

Its an audiovox 8910

an audiovox 8910 is not a gsm phone, so as far as i know the only way to unlock it would be to get the code from the service provider, which will not be easy lol. or maybe do a search online for a way to get the unlock code. if it was a gsm phone all you would need to do is find the unlock program and use a usb data cable. ive unlocked tons of gsm phones that way. what service are you trying to use it with once you unlock it?? because that phone is cdma so even if you unlock it youll only be able to use it with cdma providers like sprint, or verizon. cingular, tmobile, suncom, etc are all gsm.
