View Full Version : The Official "GET KEVINT707 OUT OF JAIL THREAD"

Vteckidd
06-24-2006, 11:57 AM
I received a phone call at 6am this morning saying that Kevint707 is in jail for wreckless driving and speeding. he was caught on I75 South in cobb County going 111mph racing some SRT4.

His bail/bond is $1800ish . I dont have that kinda cash to throw at him, so i made this thread if anyone is sympathetic to his situation. If anyone is able to get a bailbonds man for him, thatll work too.

as it sits now, hes going to be in there for 6-9weeks. He is in Cobb COunty Jail, Kevin Tran is his real name.

HE DOES HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY SOMEONE BACK IF HE GETS OUT WITH A BAIL BONDS MAN. YOU MUST BE 25, have a job for 1-2 years, 2 pay stubs, 2 forms of ID. it will cost 12% of his total bond or $216.

ill pay the $216 if someone meets those requirements

yeah mmike.. charlie called me last night.. i have maybe 100 bucks i can spare at the moment.. ill look into bail bonds with a friend later on today. .. sucks for kevin man

IntegraXTR
06-24-2006, 12:10 PM
bondsman only ask for like 10-12% of that, so out of $1800 you would end up paying like $180, just need someone 21+ to sign for him.

Vteckidd
06-24-2006, 12:16 PM
Bail Bonds man said 25, must have a job for at least 1.5 years, 3 pay stubs, electric bill, etc.

IntegraXTR
06-24-2006, 12:20 PM
wtf? there's no other bondsman around? 25% is alot man, around gwinnett and clayton its like 12%. So then thats $450 to get him out?

Vteckidd
06-24-2006, 01:20 PM
His parents wont bail him out. he already tried that.

I DO NOT HAVE $1800 to bail him out, i mean i do, but he doesnt have a job, an i cant afford to wait 1 year for him to pay me back. I told him to sell his car, an he doesnt want to do that, which i understand.

I also DO NOT MEET The requirements for a bail bondsman.

Hes a friend of mine, an i know its not about money, but i cant put up what i dont have. And if i didnt care, i wouldnt have posted this thread. NO one is laughing

Tasuki_Civic

now that i know what happened ( since i was told) as much as i love kevy he needs to learn his lesson. and thats why his parents wont get him out. i feel bad that hes in jail but he needs to keep his ass in there to realize responsibility. so i wont try to break my neck trying to get money.....but ive told his friends so i dont know what they will do. but he deserves to be in there.

hes 20

the problem i have with everyone throwing in money, is i know HE DOESNT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY ANYONE BACK. I dont know about anyone else, but i cant afford to wait long. Thats why i told him to put his car up for sale, he can get $4000-4500 for it, get out, hell get his money back once he goes to court an he can start over. Hes not interested in selling his car.

either that or get a bailbondsman, which means we need someone ot meet the criteria.

IntegraXTR
06-24-2006, 01:53 PM
basically anyone that is 25 or older that has been with their job for 1-2 years and has papers then that would help, money is obviously not the issue, just a person who can sign.

If it were me, id sacrifice my car, because the most important thing right now is getting out of jail. THat car got him in trouble, you have to be willing to SACRIFICE something if you go out and street race. I always make sure i have a plan if i go out an get arrested. if funds are low, then i dont go out, or i make sure i KNOW i can call someone to come get me.

sucks he got caught, but do the crime, do the time.

im just trying to be a friend an see if anyone else can get him out. if someone meets the requirements ILL PAY the $216. thats not a problem.

yea i understand where your coming from but he may not fully understnad and thats what im tryin to say to you. but hey i hope he learns his lesson. like i said b4 sometimes you have to be there by yourself inorder for you to realize shit that you have done to yourself and he has to learn how to take care of himself because the older you get the more you have to depend on yourself. he almost 21. hes grown. this is something he should already know.

That why its dumb to race when u cant see cops, well to race on the street period. Ive had my license suspended for a year before and trust me ive learned my lesson. Not to say i dont drive fast anymore but its been a while since ive done anything that could get me locked up. I say leavem in and tell his ass to sell his car. I don't know if this issue has been resolved yet or not, but I would strongly urge everyone thinking about going to a bail bondsman against it. Once you sign those papers, Kev is YOUR responsibility. If he skips, if he sneezes wrong, if anything happens, they will go after YOU for the remainder of the bond plus their fee.

It would be sooo much better for 30something people on IA to give up $50 to make the bail than it would for any one person to take on that level of personal responsibility.

Anyway, I hope all works out.

i feel bad wish i had money to help out a fellow street racer. i got caught in va doing a 115 in a 55 work zone and they just gave me a 600 dollar ticket . i got street racing ticket in mass and got a 1200 dollar ticket and they tried to suspend my license but it was a ga license so they couldn't. i still haven't paid either one. i've never been arrested though. tel this dude i said good luck. there must have been something else to lock him up.

YOU MUST BE 25, have a job for 1-2 years, 2 pay stubs, 2 forms of ID. it will cost 12% of his total bond or $216.

ill pay the $216 if someone meets those requirements

i can do it. 7 years on the job as a logistics manager. any other requirements? man, that sucks, he was just at my house 2 days ago doing his nitrous setup.
