I think turbodave and Clark might try to come also. I talked to Clark a little while ago, and he said he might be back from Miami in time, but he didnt know.

Does anyone know of any I am missing here? Are any of the black cobras, z06's, or exotics going?

So much for 600$ dss level 2 axles that are supposed to handle 400 whp. my best time of the day was a weak 13.6. I am going to buy a NEW shift linkage from honda and hopefully settle this problem once and for all. along with some other CEL issues i am having

I think alot of people were intimidated(sp) about the rain in the Alpharetta, Roswell, Duluth, etc... area. Boosted1jz and I had to call the track before we left to make sure it was still a go because it was raining so bad up here. I had a good time for the short amount of time I had. Thanks to Chris (lightspeed) for putting this thing together. If you put on another one I will make sure that we get there earlier and that we bring out both cars.

well michael was pissed at me already for running the car as much as i did. cause it is throwing a few codes and not running 100% at all. no use in driving it while its running like shit and run the risk of tearing shit up. that axle is gonna cost me a few hundred bucks as it is

Yes true, Jason did pull me about actually 1 bus length not 2. Buses are pretty long you know? Like 3 car lengths by the end of the track. I did take you once though, when you ran a 15.2 and I ran a 14.8. I'll have to post the video up, since its the only time I beat you :cool: .

P.S.
We shall see about the 2-3 buses at the next track event (Tunerfest) :rolleyes: . O, & take off the slicks .. it'll make it more competitive for me.

I was on 75 on my way down but after getting held up at an appointment in downtown that morning and already having driven 2 hours and with the possibility of rain I chickened out and headed home. I was all prepared and if I'd been able to run my car probably would have headed on down but to just come and spectate there were too many things that were making it not seem worth it. I'm glad those in attendance had a good time.

Actually, the owner of the track told me it turned out pretty well for a new event, esp given the heat and rain potential. There were a lot of people calling the track and asking about rain. It was raining all over the place, and that obviously discouraged a lot of people.
Several of the big imports were broken or out of town, which didnt help.

The point of this wasnt meant to be "impressive." It was meant to have fun for the people who wanted to go, and I think it accomplished that.

She had a ton of fun and was just hot lapping the damn car. I think it cooled down once for about 15 minutes after I made her park it to let the clutch and the tires cool. i dont make excusus but i have it on video and can show u i didnt miss 4th gear but it wouldnt go in i still have stock clutch and i had made about 10 passes already and i must have been hot u could see the back end of my car raise up and not squat for a second or two and i am sorry if i was an ass to u i took it the wrong way but i have u on some more videos if u want them later

The only time my car has had problems on the hwy was when I put 6 cars on the viper on barrett last year and my tranny took a shit when I threw it in reverse for a split second while doing 100mph and that was with my old setup. That was operator error only.

i went from 3rd to 2nd once and my scanner said it revved to 8200rpms no probs though if u beat a viper that bad i dont want any and im not affraid to admit it

last time I raced hydroshutter was 2 weeks ago and 1st run he got a jump and beat me by 1/2 car 2nd run I BB from a lower gear and got the jump and was ahead 3/4 car when IC piping blew.

in the blue T/A? I thought that was a 10 second car. You guys talk it up like its the fastest thing ever and beats every mustang around Barrett parkway. I guess a 12.8@111 isn't too bad though for a newbie driver.

It does DRAG every mustang around barret. I have the vids to prove it. Her car has ran every mustang that is willing to race on barret and drug it down the road. Not saying its the fastest thing just saying around barret:D it has not been beat by a mustang.

Also my car is ready now I just don't bring it out that much because nobody ever want to race they just like to tlak about it

The reason I changed my mind is because its my girlfreinds car and she wanted to get some passes in and she was having a great time doing it and I wasn't about to stop her where I can run your truck when she was having fun. Its just not fair its her car. I will be glad to run you in my car anytime you want form a stop of coarse.
