wastegate question

i have a tial 38mm waste gate and i have a xs power t3 turbo , i know its a cheap turbo. . the one vteckid was selling. were dose the waste gate lines hook to. because the turbo dose not have a nipple on it . like stock turbos do . any info will help. thanks

you can either tap the charge pipe with a nipple for a boost source or just t off one of the lines at the manifold.

its better to tap the end of the compressor housing for the boost source for a wastegate.

that's what i meant by tapping the charge pipe...easier to remove the charge pipe right after the turbo and to clean after drilling and tapping than the actual turbo.

or you can get it from the manifold so the engine gets the amount of boost you want, and no loss of pressure through the core and piping.

You hook up the pressure sensor to the manifold, the boost controller refrences that. The line he is talking about goes to the wastegate and the solenoid you want that line to be as short as possible.
