This is right around the corner from my aparment, well my old apartment as of today. Considering the ages and the area it happened in even though it says they are from FL, wasnt sure if it was anyone I knew or not. Has anyone on here personally heard anything about this???

Two men were killed Thursday in a predawn wreck near the Chattahoochee River in Roswell, police said.
Roswell police Sgt. James McGee said a 1994 Honda Accord that was eastbound on Riverside Road near Eves Road "tried to negotiate a left curve at a high rate of speed, left the roadway and struck a pine tree about 12 feet off the road."
The driver and the passenger were killed instantly, McGee said.
Their names were withheld until relatives could be notified, but McGee said both men were carrying Florida drivers licenses with addresses in the St. Petersburg area. One was 24 years old, the other 22, he said.
McGee said investigators had found no indication of alcohol or drug use being a factor in the wreck. He said a resident called police after hearing the 4 a.m. crash.

Yeah I figured no one would.. but its crazy I have a friend that lives right there and I go that way to go to her house and we were talking about how things happen so close to your house or on roads that you travel everyday and it just a dialy reminder everytime you go by the flowers and crosses on the side of the road. And even though you have no clue who the person is you cant help but think about it for a minute and just it's sad...

Yeah true.. but stupidty or not.. its still a life lost.. Like I have said before somewhere else, we all take chances everyday whether we are aware of them or not, and sometimes we are lucky and breeze on by and sometimes we are not so lucky.. its part of life

Definitely sad, but it would have been even more sad if there was a mother with children coming the opposite direction. I honestly hate to see anyone lose their life, but if that would have happened I think we all would be thinking differently about the two in the accord.
