I recently built a D16Y8 for my 98 hatch and I have a ton of parts left over from both my stock motor and donor motors. Here's a list:
1998 D16Y7 from my 1998 hatch. Full motor EXCEPT the crank and rods. I had to rob those due to machine shop screw-ups on some of my parts. The engine has 122,750 miles, and everything still looks great. Slight carbon build-up on pistons and at the top of the cylinders. Factory crosshatch is still apparent on cylinder walls. Includes the engine wiring harness and P2E computer. I also have the stock intake and exhaust manifolds, if anyone's interested. - $SOLD!
1998 DX S40 transmission - 122,750 miles. It is the main reason I replaced my stock motor. This thing may make a better boat anchor than transmission. Before being replaced, it had a 2nd gear pop-out, ground 3rd and 5th. Certainly needs a rebuild before being used for long periods of time. Not really looking to get anything for this tranny - come get it and its yours. - $GONE!
Miscellaneous D-Series Stuff:
D16Y7 exhaust manifold with cat converter - $40
D crank pulley - $5
D water crossover tube (goes behind motor between water pump and thermostat housing) - $Free if you want it
D16Y7 B-pipe - $5
D lower timing belt cover - $5
D dipstick - $0.50
D alternator and alternator mount - $20, great working condition
D oil pump (60k miles) - $15
2 D water pumps (60k miles each) - $5 each
D starter - $20
D driver's side upper engine mount - $5
D flywheel (122k miles, good condition, but could use resurfacing) - $10
4 P2E pistons from my stock motor - slight carbon buildup, but can be easily removed - $15
D clutch cover - $1
6 D-series connecting rods - $5 for the lot
D oil breather chamber - $1
P2P engine block stiffeners - $1
D slave cylinder - $5
D shift linkage - $5
D16Y7 Intake manifold/throttle body/fuel rail/injectors - $20
D16Y7 plastic intake box/piping - $5
D16Y8 EX oil pan (unmolested) - $20
D16Y8 crank - had a problem with con rod movement after this visited the machine shop. The crank would need to be mic'd to make sure it will work without problems. Otherwise, it could make good furniture - $1
Misc. Civic Parts:
I upgraded to Integra brakes front/rear and want to see if anyone has a use for my old parts. I have the front calipers/brackets/lines, rear trailing arms with drum brakes/ebrake cables/lines and the stock prop valve - $40
This a pretty inclusive list, though I may not have listed everything I have. I'm located in Athens, GA, and just looking to clean out my storage unit. Hit me up if you're interested in anything. I can ship most of the small stuff if you pay for it; the big stuff would be pickup preferred.
