JM's parents live in Hilton Head so we go there all the time and thats always fun!! But we know people there so theres always something to do, if you dont know anyone the only thing to do is golf, putt putt, movies, and eat, lol..

And Myrtle Beach is good.. I like going there cuase you got more shopping and things to do!

BEST BEACH EVAR!!!. i have been going there every summer since i was a toddler. im leaving for the obx in 24 days and counting.

however its a little far of a drive,

about 10-10.5 hour drive going about 85-90 mph the whole way.


St Simons island is only about 4.5 hours away and is nice for a weekend getaway...really quiet... hotel room would be about $90 a night for a nice one. my g/f and i went there last august for the weekend it was really nice probably gonna go again right before classes start up again.

no shit, thats awesome, i would love to own a place up there but its sooo expensive, i was looking at some ocean side lots in 4wd territory in corolla and they were like 500,000 just for the lot. my grandad used to own two lots in kitty hawk back in the 70's for about 20k for both of them and ended up selling them in hard times...too bad he didnt hang on to them, they would be worth 100's of thousands now.

Myrtle, I have a friend u could stay with up there. Or PC, I know the owner of the sandpiper beacon beach resort...:) Both are nice, and both are cheap. Since ur worried about price and distence.
