1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T with low miles on it!It is pushing 350hp and 50 STATE LEGAL! Stock engine, except for the HKS 264 degree cam.It also has HKS 50 state legal air filter kit w/Greddy intake. Many Greddy parts, including: Greddy 18G turbo kit with oversize front mounted intercooler, piping, turbo timer, blow-off valve type S, also EGT gauge and boost gauge in a Pillar gauge mount, and Greddy shift knob. Also HKS EVC boost controller pushing 18 psi.I installed 4 RC 550cc fuel injectors and also an Apexi super AFC for fuel metering, and Magnecor 8mm wires. The downpipe is Apexi 2 3/4" with a 3" Tanabe Racing Medallion exhaust and Random high flow catalytic converter.I polished the valve cover and added a Pilot valve cover cap for looks. It has Protane Polyurethane motor mounts.I upgraded the clutch with a street disc and A.C.T. extreme pressure plate. To increase handling, I dropped it 2" with a 3 degree camber kit and added a polished strut bar, Sprint springs and Tokik
o Illumin 5 way adjustable gas shocks.Has 18" Volk Racing GTN two piece rims with Falken GRB 225/35/18 Z-rated tires (97% tread left).I upgraded the front brakes with Crossdrill rotors. For added appearance, I installed Altezza carbon taillights with clear corner lenses. The am/fm/cassette/cd sound system is powered by a Sony Xplode 1000 watt amp with 10" sub and 6 Infinity 110 watt speakers. This car has always been garaged and well kept.Oil is changed every 2500 miles

It probably has no compression. All those mods on a stock 7bolt bottom end = recipe for crankwalk.

Maybe there was meant to be a 1 in front of the $2,950.

I've got my 1997 Spyder GS-T on there for $8400. It has a new 6-bolt engine, EVOIII turbo, CC stg 2 clutch/flywheel, new timing belt, etc..... It is also fully loaded, even chrome wheels and woodgrain dash.

Here is the IA link if you are interested in a real GS-T:

So where exactly do you see this recipe?

I would still buy it for 3K. Put in a new motor (if thats whats wrong) for ~2000, and call it a day

350hp isn't hard. It probably has a salvage title or is blown up.

I agree with the recipe, what main does the car have? Ask the guy and I am 90% sure he wont be able to tell you, or he will make something up. The engine is either ready to blow, or is blown. Spend your hard earned money some where else.
