Friday whenever I got off work I went over to my cousin house to help him work on his rail buggy. I got over there at 5 p.m. He had a turbo 400 transmission in it but was climbin some stuff and busted it some how. He got a turbi 350 transmission from someone and then got a turbo 350 torque convertor(or so we thought). Whenever I got over there he already had the transmission, transfer case, and driveshafts out. We get the new transmission and everything put and in go to bolt up the torque convertor to the flywheel and realized it wouldn't fit. We make a few phone calls and find someone with a turbo 350 flywheel and went and got it. We get back pull the motor out and put the new flywheel on. Put the motor back in and it doesn't bolt up either. I got to thinkin and thought that maybe the torque convertor wasn't out of a turbo 350 but out of a powerglide so we go and get a turbo 350 torgue convertor and pull the motor out and put it on and it works. We get it all put back together and go to move it out of the shop and the transmission is shot. We start takin it all apart and by this time it is around 8 in the mornin since there was only 2 of us workin on it. I was on the creeper and fell asleep and my cousin fell alseep under it also. Once we wake up we start right back on it. He had another turbo 400 transmission but it is for a 2wd so the output shaft was 2 inches to long. We cut the output shaft and grind it down so that it would fit into the transfer case. Finally around 5 p.m. saturday we get it all back together and runnin. That night we take it up to Mount Etna in TN to go ride and he was tryin to climb a rock ledge and then next thing you know the steerin shaft and driveshaft break and the transfer case fucks up. We finally got it out of there.
