fuck all that..1st- GIAC CHIP 40 + HP 70 + tQ to the wheels, visit the VW/AUDI forum on IA.. some old Skool vdubers on here..

My TT, 1.8t Stock 180 hp/ 195 tq to the wheels.. with GIAC + K&N Filter + DV : 225 hp/ 275 tq to the wheels. Thats how much I put down with those mods.. about 700 bucks.

really? damn...where can he go about getting this? and does it have to be tuned? he lives in key west so i'm not sure if there are any places out there, he said he'd check on it. i looked at vwvortex and found the magnaflow exhaust for the GLI...but i'm keep looking. he said he was was gonna join IA and he tried yesterday but the site was all jacked up.

Seriously, 1st mod should be a chip... My prefrence is GIAC, but plenty others out there.. CHIP is by Far the best bang for the buck.

Locally, Eurotech or Autofab.. Eurotech did mines and a few other cats on IA.com.
No need to tune w/ that alone.

vwvortex.com has a million site you can buy products for

GIAC CHIP
2 1/2" or 3" TB, Techtonics is the cheapest out there(cheaper then custome)
Samco hose kit
Car rides to high so i would also recomend new springs and shocks. Bilstein cup kit
Eurosport.com has great deals on sway, stress and strut bars.

Hey everyone, I just registered on here today. I'm Chad's friend with the '06 GLI 2.0T. I'd definitely love to throw down on the GIAC chip, a downpipe and a new intake... I will probably have to make a haul to Miami (2.5 -3 hours away) so I'll probably do everything at once on a long weekend.

I've heard good things about the APR chip as well. Does anyone know what the major differences are between the APR chip and GIAC chip aside from price and brand?
