need help with radio issue

ok i got a mk1 mr2 and the radio works but it shorts out. when it shorts out the clock goes out to. i rewired the harness inbetween the radio and the connector and it still doesnt work any idea what is could be. any help would be great thanks. :D

Posibly an exposed wire grounding somewhere? Your best bet would be to trace all wires and make sure there is no exposure/breakage. If you can't figure it out I would definately take it somewhere to be looked at.
