Avoid finishline. There are plenty of other shops in atlanta. I prefer Batlground and Mainstream.

although i've met sae and he's a cool guy, i've never dealt with his shop. so i wouldnt be able to tell ya.. what exactly are you looking at doing?
tips:
1.get several pricing estimates
2. by all means avoid Batlground
3. check out the boards (on your car/make/model) and see if theres a place in GA that they have heard of or recommend

and i have known sae for a long time, i cant knock his shop because i have never gotten any work there. I have been there a couple times before he opened it and I know that mike from finishline now works for tiger racing and he was one of there best techs up there....

Good people to know, but a little hard to do business with sometimes. Juan was a great fabricator and Corolla nut, so I always took my car to him when it had any major issue. Sae's usually got decent people working for him, but he'll say anything to make a sale.

I would stay away from any shops that was at a movie theather last night leaving there shop flyer in every car out there... I got a call last night at 1am, someone telling me this. sucks to not have any business.
Plenty of good shops out there, just do your homework.

ok, I have one thing to say, Expect anything at this shop to take a LONG TIME! good pricing though, but their work takes a long long time. also, if he says 3 days, he means at least 3 months.

there's one decent employee...Juan...who does the fabricating and shit...but he's pretty much the only one who does any work...and he's hardly there...then there's A.K....but he's the paper pusher...but my good friend...he's not mechanically inclined...he needs to quit there though...so if you read this A.K....QUIT!

Turbo Dave does alot of the fabricting for FinishLine, an they dyno alot of their cars over here.
My best advice is to talk to previous customers an see if they were satisfied or not. Thats the best thing to do , relying on internet opinions can be biased and one sided

yeah they do..juan...i'm a customer and i've spoken with the customers there, and they'll all vouch that they take forever...it doesn't take 4 months to turbo a ka and drop it in a shell...especially since they're to "specialize" in 240's...oh wait...4 months...they're still not finished with it...mp50's mr2 has been sitting in the same place with no motor or wheels on it for the past 2 months now...fuck that shop...it needs to be burned down...hence why my motor's for sale cuz i'm not payin them for the p.o.s. shell they tried to give me, when i was supposed to get a new shell painted and everything

shady... that sounds like a bit much
he was out there for sure, but always willing to help out
Bottom line, no one I know has had good experiences with anything involving Finishline and money. Now, the guys that work there, including Sae, seem like good people. They are all car guys, just the financial side sucks. So, if you need work done, go somewhere else, if you need parts, only buy it if they have it right there in front of you, other than that. Hanging out there is fun, cause kids do stupid shit.

OK I PROOF MY POINT ALREADY!
THE ONLY ONES WHO TALK BAD ABOUT THE FABRICATOR IS THE ONE THAT DOES NOT EVEN SEE HIM ONCE AND DO NOT KNOW HIM!
BUT THE ONES THAT TALK BAD ABOUT THE SHOP ARE THE ONES WITH BAD EXPERIENCE WITH IT SO THIS EXPERIMENT CAME UP THE WAY I EXPECTED!
THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!
PSS NOTHING AGAINST THAT SHOP! BUT THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS I FEEL A LOT BETTER NOW!
