I was getting off 316 on to Dulth Hwy on my way home and this fucker kept riding my ass. So he does a ricer fly by and turns on to Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. So anyhow I finally catch up to his ass at red light. This fucker starts reving and reving and I thought to myself "why not it's been awhile". So I start to "blip" the gas to get ready to launch as well as he does the same. Light turns green and we go, I pulled about a car off the line and we continue up to about 85mph. I ended ahead about 1/2 a car or more (you know it's hard to be exact when you're ahead) and the fucker throws me a bird and continues to speed on down the road after I let off. About a mile or so down the road I see his ass pulled over by Gwinnett's finest<<<<<LOL what a dumb ass

*JUST TO CLARIFY EVERYTHING, B/C THERE'S BEEN SOME CONFUSION WITH MY TRANNY, YES MY TRANNY COULD ONLY GO INTO THREE GEARS 2, 4 AND 6 B/C OF A SHIFT LINKAGE PROBLEM. GOT THE SHIFT LINKAGE REPLACED AND GEARS 1, 3 AND 5 CAN GO BACK IN NOW BUT THE SYNCHROS ARE PRETTY WORN DOWN BUT CAN STILL GO IN WITH A NICE PUSH*

Just curious if you've raced a new Z06 from a roll, and what speed you went to. The new Z is incredibly hard to launch, and I know the torque management plays a lot in it as well. The new Z06 is just starting to get into its strong spot at 85mph, in my opinion. I haven't raced mine from a dig, except when I took it to the track a couple weekends ago. I am just curious how well the cars do in contrast from dig to roll.


Good kill though. Even though they suck to launch, they're still beasts and to beat one earns you some big props. :goodjob:

I believe you ran this audi on 985 a few months ago, along with a silver evo and red integra. I was a passenger in the red integra when everyone stoped at the gas station.

Oh wow, I remember that!! It was freakin' cold out that night, and we went from a dig if I remember correctly. I spun my ass off until about 70mph. Has the car changed since then? I had him once I got traction, but it was still a very fast car.

Also, I ran the Integra, but did not run the silver Evo. Rick ran the Evo a couple of times, though. I think the Evo was going to do some work on the car or turn the boost up higher after that night, too.

After I had the car retuned I put down over 400whp and 377 torque which I believe would have been a much better race especially without the extra person in my car(cameraman).

My car is getting the clutch and tranny fixed right now and should be ready to go in about a week or so.
